The Baskin collection by Feiss takes the classic antique socket pendant light and gives it an ultra clean, modern finish. This is the rounded silhouette, a single drop pendant with a softly curved glass form, finished here in a bright Polished Nickel that leans fully into the design's contemporary side.

How it works
This pendant doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order, choosing a size that sits comfortably within the rounded glass shade. As with all our lighting, we recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.
Where it works best
Baskin is designed with kitchen islands in mind, hung singly or in a row over an island or breakfast bar, and it works just as well as a single drop over a side table or dining area. It is an indoor fitting, suited to kitchens, dining rooms and living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
Long before Baskin took the classic antique socket pendant and pared it back into these two clean, contemporary silhouettes, the Feiss name had already spent decades building a reputation for decorative lighting. It started in 1955, when Murray Feiss opened a small business in the South Bronx, New York, wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and having his mother, Rose, hand sew the shades. Three generations on, the family operation had grown into one of America's best known lighting brands, its range spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and now sitting within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has brought that heritage, Baskin included, to the UK and Europe, adapted for 220 to 240V electrical systems.
