The Argento single wall light is built around a mouth blown bubble glass orb, a softly irregular shape that catches the light differently to a standard round shade. It is finished in an elegant Oxidised Silver Leaf, giving the fitting a slightly aged, tactile quality rather than a flat, uniform finish.

The Oxidised Silver Leaf finish has natural variation across its surface, so no two fittings look quite identical. It sits well against darker walls as well as lighter ones, without competing with the glass orb for attention.
How it works
This fitting does not come with a bulb, so you will need to add one to your order. As with any hardwired wall light, we would recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.
Where it works best
Argento works well as a pair either side of a bed, mirror or fireplace, or as a single accent in a hallway or living room where you want a softer, textural point of light.
The story behind Feiss
Feiss designs sold in the UK and Europe today reach customers through Elstead Lighting, which has held the licence since 2012 and adapted the collection, Argento included, to run safely on 220 to 240V wiring. The Feiss name itself now belongs within Visual Comfort & Co., the result of three generations of steady growth that turned a single New York workshop into one of America's foremost decorative lighting brands, spanning everything from chandeliers to outdoor fittings. That workshop began in 1955 in the South Bronx, where Murray Feiss wired imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases while his mother Rose sewed the shades by hand. Argento's own contribution to the range is simpler than any of that history: a mouth blown bubble glass orb, chosen for its tactile, irregular shape rather than any nod to a particular period.
