Laser cut scroll work brings an Arabic influence to a four light chandelier
The Arabesque 4 light chandelier is built around laser cut scroll work, its pattern unmistakably Arabic in influence, set into a transitional silhouette that also feels at home in a more contemporary British interior. Four arms carry the design around the fitting, each finished with an ivory linen shade and glass bottom diffuser.
Silver Leaf Patina finish
The Silver Leaf Patina finish gives the scroll work a soft, slightly weathered metallic tone rather than a hard shine, letting the intricate cut pattern read clearly rather than disappearing into a glare. It works well as a centrepiece in both traditional and more eclectic transitional rooms.
How it works
Each of the four arms needs its own bulb, none of which are included, so four will need adding to your order. Given the size and weight of a four arm chandelier, we'd recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.

This is a dining room or entrance hall centrepiece, hung where its scroll work and linen shades can be seen from below. It's an indoor fitting throughout, not intended for bathrooms or outdoor use.
The story behind Feiss
Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has been responsible for bringing Feiss designs to the UK and Europe, rewiring them for 220 to 240V electrical systems, part of a design heritage that today sits within the wider Visual Comfort & Co. group. Getting there took three generations of one family, starting in 1955 when Murray Feiss opened a small lighting business in the South Bronx, New York, built around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases, their shades hand sewn by his mother, Rose. What grew from that beginning became one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor pieces. Arabesque carries an unmistakably Arabic influence through the range, its laser cut scroll work giving this transitional collection its distinctive decorative character.
