Arabesque's scroll work, set close to the ceiling
The Arabesque 2 light flush fitting brings the collection's laser cut, Arabic influenced scroll work to rooms where a hanging pendant or chandelier isn't practical. Two lamps sit close under the ceiling, each behind an ivory linen shade with a glass bottom diffuser, keeping the pattern visible without the fitting hanging low.
Silver Leaf Patina finish
The Silver Leaf Patina finish gives the scroll work its familiar soft, slightly weathered tone, so even at close range under a low ceiling it reads as detailed rather than shiny or plain. It suits transitional interiors that want a decorative flush fitting rather than a purely functional one.
How it works
Each of the two lamp positions needs its own bulb, neither of which are included, so add two to your order. We recommend a qualified electrician handles installation, as with any ceiling fitting.

The story behind Feiss
Rose Feiss, mother of founder Murray, hand sewed the shades that finished the earliest Feiss lamps, made from imported European porcelain figurines Murray wired into lamp bases at the small South Bronx business he opened in 1955. Three generations of the same family carried that business forward into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its range spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, now sitting within Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting collections including Arabesque for 220 to 240V electrical systems. Arabesque draws on an unmistakably Arabic influence throughout the range, its laser cut scroll work giving this transitional collection its distinctive decorative character, close to the ceiling in this flush version.
