The Adams 4 light pendant chandelier expands on the Victorian era styling of the collection, with four glass orb shades and vintage cast rosette detail running through the crown, ceiling canopy and centre strap. The extra light gives this version a fuller, more substantial presence than the 3 light size.

Brushed Brass finish

The Brushed Brass finish brings a warm, golden tone to this larger Adams pendant, with a soft matte texture rather than a bright polish. It works particularly well in rooms with richer colours or darker woodwork, and pairs easily with other brass hardware nearby.

How it works

This pendant takes four bulbs, none of which are included, so you'll need to add these to your order. It's wired into the ceiling via its canopy, and as with all ceiling lighting, we'd recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles the installation.

Where it works best

With four lights spread around the centre strap, this larger Adams pendant suits bigger hallways, stairwells or dining rooms where a stronger decorative statement is wanted. Brushed Brass adds warmth to period properties and works equally well as a characterful addition to a more contemporary room.

The story behind Feiss

Victorian era lighting design, with its ornate glass orbs and cast rosette detailing, is the inspiration behind the Adams collection, a look quite removed from the small South Bronx workshop where Murray Feiss founded the Feiss name in 1955. There, imported European porcelain figurines were wired into lamp bases and finished with shades hand sewn by his mother, Rose. Three generations of family ownership later, that workshop had become one of America's best known names in decorative lighting, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, its heritage now held within Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe, adapting collections including Adams for 220 to 240V electrical systems.
