A Victorian inspired pendant chandelier with rosette detailing
The Adams 4 light pendant chandelier draws on Victorian era lighting design, with four rounded glass orb shades set around a central strap finished in vintage cast rosette detail. The same rosette motif reappears in the decorative metal casing that wraps the crown and ceiling canopy, giving the whole fitting a considered, period feel.
British Bronze finish
The British Bronze finish gives Adams a darker, warmer tone than a plated metal, with a subtle depth that works well in rooms with darker woodwork, exposed beams or richer colour schemes. It's a finish that leans traditional without feeling heavy, and pairs comfortably with brass or bronze door furniture and other ironmongery.
How it works
This pendant takes four bulbs, none of which are included, so you'll need to add these to your order. It's wired into the ceiling via its canopy, and as with all ceiling lighting, we'd recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles the installation.
Where it works best
With four lights spread around the centre strap, this larger Adams pendant suits bigger hallways, stairwells, dining rooms or open plan spaces where you want a stronger decorative presence. The Victorian detailing makes it especially at home in period properties, though it works equally well as a statement piece in a more contemporary room.
The story behind Feiss
Feiss's design heritage now belongs to Visual Comfort & Co., and since 2012 Elstead Lighting has represented the brand across the UK and Europe, adapting each collection for 220 to 240V current. The company itself was founded in 1955 by Murray Feiss, who built a small lighting business in the South Bronx around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases, the shades hand sewn by his mother Rose. Three generations of family involvement grew that start into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings. Adams draws on Victorian era lighting design for its ornate glass orbs and cast rosette detailing, this four light version finished in a deeper British Bronze.
