The Adams 3 light pendant chandelier takes Victorian era lighting as its starting point, combining three glass orb shades with vintage cast rosette detailing on the crown, ceiling canopy and centre strap. It's the smaller of the two Adams sizes, suited to spaces that call for decorative detail on a more modest scale.

In Brushed Brass, Adams takes on a warmer, golden tone with a soft, matte texture rather than a high shine. It's a finish that works well against darker or richer colour schemes and pairs naturally with other brass fittings and hardware in the room.

How it works

This pendant takes three bulbs, none of which are included, so you'll need to add these to your order. It's wired into the ceiling through its canopy, and as with all ceiling lighting, we'd recommend a registered NICEIC electrician handles the installation.

The story behind Feiss

Adams reaches back to Victorian era lighting for its own reference points, its glass orbs and cast rosette detailing borrowed from that period rather than invented fresh. The company behind it has its own, more recent history: Murray Feiss opening a small lighting workshop in the South Bronx in 1955, wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases while his mother Rose hand sewed the shades that finished them. Three generations on, that workshop had grown into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, spanning chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and its design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting its designs for 220 to 240V electrical systems.
