A smaller chandelier for the same classic look
The Abbey three light chandelier keeps the collection's monastery inspired shape and gold, mushroom pleated shades in a smaller fitting than the five light version, sized for more modest rooms.
Silver sand finish, gold pleated shades
Even at this smaller scale, the soft, hand brushed silver sand finish and the gold, mushroom pleated shades keep the same muted, classic character as the rest of the collection, just in a more compact frame.
How it works
This chandelier hangs from the ceiling and does not come with bulbs, so you'll need to add three to your order, one for each light. As with all ceiling fittings, we would recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.
Where it works best
At three lights, it suits a smaller dining table, a study or a bedroom looking for some period character without an oversized fitting. It is an indoor fitting, suited to living, dining and hallway spaces.
The story behind Feiss
Three generations of the Feiss family built the business from a single South Bronx workshop into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, its range eventually running from chandeliers and pendants to wall and outdoor lights. Murray Feiss started it all in 1955, wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases and having his mother Rose hand sew each shade. Visual Comfort & Co. now holds the design heritage, represented in the UK and Europe by Elstead Lighting since 2012, who adapt the collections to 220 to 240V. Abbey's name and shape come from monastery architecture, and this smaller three light chandelier, finished with the same gold, mushroom pleated shades, suits more modest rooms than the range's largest piece.
