The Twist 300 is a low post lamp from Faro Barcelona's Twist outdoor collection, designed by Estudi Ribaudi. Its character comes from the structure itself: a solid cylindrical base and a solid top disc are joined by an open cage of slim rods that cross and twist around one another. With the LED tucked in near the top, light slips out sideways through the lattice to throw a gentle pattern of light and shadow across the ground and any surface close by. At roughly 30cm tall it is a compact, sculptural piece that reads as much as an object in the garden as it does a light.

The dark grey finish

This version wears a dark grey, anthracite tone that sits quietly against stone, timber decking, render and planting through the day, then steps back after dark to let the warm glow do the work. The body is aluminium with a painted finish chosen to cope with the weather. How it works
