The Faro Stan 2 Light is a linear spotlight fitting with two cylindrical heads set along a slim rectangular bar. The black finish

This version wears a matt black finish across both the bar and the two barrel shaped heads, giving it a confident, understated presence against a pale wall or ceiling. Black reads as more graphic and defined than the softer white in the Stan range, and it pairs naturally with darker joinery, metal accents and industrial or contemporary interiors. If you prefer a lighter touch, the same fitting is offered in white and in satin gold; the two light black is the choice when you want the fixture itself to register as a deliberate detail.

How it works

Stan is built from aluminium with a transparent polycarbonate diffuser at each head. It can be fitted to either a wall or a ceiling, and the twin heads adjust after mounting so you can fine tune the direction of light once it is up. The fitting takes two GU10 bulbs, which are not included, allowing you to choose the colour temperature and beam that suit the space. It is not dimmable. As a mains fitting it needs hard wiring, so Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

The Stan 2 Light is a versatile spotlight for hallways, living rooms, home offices and bedrooms, and it works particularly well as a reading or accent light beside a bed or armchair. Mounted horizontally it can wash a length of wall or highlight artwork; fitted to a ceiling it becomes a compact two point spot for task areas. It is an indoor light intended for dry rooms.
