The Soun 105 is a slim, upright recessed light built to sit flush within an exterior wall, so the fitting itself all but disappears and only the light it throws remains. A small run of integrated LEDs is set into the top of the recess and washes a soft pool of light downward across an angled internal reflector, guiding the eye along steps, thresholds and pathways rather than glaring back at it. The dark grey finish

How it works

The Soun 105 uses an integrated LED, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It draws 4.5W and, according to Faro, delivers around 280 lumens of warm 3000K light, the softer, more welcoming end of white light that suits gardens and outdoor living spaces. The body is made from aluminium for durability outdoors, and the fitting is designed to be recessed into the wall and wired into the mains supply. As this is a hardwired mains fitting, Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
