If you need more reach over larger shrubs or higher foliage, the Slot spike also comes in a taller version, but this compact black 200 is the one for borders, low planting and close up accenting near ground level.

How it works

The Slot 200 uses an integrated LED, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It draws around 13W and gives a warm white 3000K light with a narrow, focused beam that concentrates the output onto whatever you are highlighting rather than spilling it across the garden. The head tilts and turns on its bracket, so once the spike is set in the ground you can aim the light precisely, and it comes with an integral supply cable ready to connect to a suitable garden circuit. As this is a mains fitting, Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
