An architectural bollard light for paths and driveways
The Naya 500 is a low post lamp with a clean, squared off profile that brings a quiet sense of order to an outdoor space. Rather than throwing light in every direction, it draws the beam through a recessed opal diffuser set into the head, so the glow spills gently downward and outward across the ground nearby. It is the kind of understated marker light that looks considered by day and does genuine work after dark.
The dark grey finish at 500mm
This version stands 500mm tall in a matt dark grey, an anthracite tone that reads as almost charcoal against paving, gravel and planting. The die cast aluminium body has a slim square section that keeps the footprint tidy, and the darker colour lets the fitting recede into the background during the day while the opal polycarbonate diffuser softens the light at night. It suits contemporary and pared back gardens where you want the lighting felt more than seen. If you are working to a particular height or a lighter shade, the Naya family extends to other sizes and finishes.
How it works
Light comes from an integrated LED rated at 8W with a warm white colour temperature of 3000K, a tone that flatters brick, stone and greenery without the cold edge of brighter white light. Because the LED is built in there is no bulb to source or replace. The lamp is mains powered at 230V and is designed to be fixed to a solid base, so it needs wiring in. Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where it works best
At 500mm the Naya sits at a natural height for lining a path or driveway, punctuating the edge of a terrace, or marking the transition between lawn and border. Placed in a run it guides movement through a garden after dark; used singly it can flag a step, a gate or the corner of a patio. It is a good choice for homeowners and designers after a discreet, architectural bollard rather than a decorative lantern.
Weather resistance
The Naya 500 carries an IP54 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and against water splashing from any direction. That makes it well suited to open garden positions exposed to rain and the weather, though like any IP54 fitting it is not intended for immersion or for standing water. Its sealed aluminium and polycarbonate construction is built for year round outdoor life.
