The dark grey finish and 350mm height

This is the shorter 350mm version of the Lotus beacon, finished in a matt dark grey that reads as a deep anthracite against greenery, gravel and paving. The restrained height suits lining a path, edging a border or marking the turn of a driveway, where a taller post would feel too dominant. The body is made from aluminium with a polycarbonate section, a combination chosen for outdoor durability, and the neutral grey tone sits comfortably with both contemporary and planted, natural settings. How it works

The Lotus 350 uses an integrated LED rated at 18W with a warm white 3000K colour temperature, so the light is soft and inviting rather than cold. Because the LED is built in, there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. The beacon is mains powered and fixes to the ground through its circular base plate, and Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
