A sculptural floor lamp with a quiet sense of balance
The Faro Le Vita floor lamp is one of those pieces that reads almost like a line drawing in the corner of a room. A single slim upright rises from a round base and, near the top, softens into a gentle curl that cups a glowing sphere of opal glass. It is the work of the Nahtrang studio, whose approach here is deliberately understated: pare everything back to a fine metal frame and one luminous globe, and let the shape do the talking. The result is a designer floor lamp that feels calm and considered rather than loud.
The gold finish
This version wears a warm polished gold across the whole frame, from the weighted disc base to the tapering stem and the looping bracket that holds the diffuser. Against the soft white of the glass, the metal picks up a subtle glow of its own, which gives the lamp a jewellery like quality when it is lit. It sits comfortably alongside brass hardware, cream and oatmeal upholstery, walnut or oak timber and warmer neutral walls, and it holds its own in a more maximalist scheme where a hit of metallic is welcome. If your palette leans cooler or more graphic, the same design is offered in a black frame instead.
How it works
Light comes from an integrated LED module rated at 6W, tucked behind the opal glass so the sphere reads as one even, glare free glow. Faro lists the colour temperature as 2700K, a warm white that suits living spaces and evenings. The lamp is dimmable through a built in touch control with three brightness levels, so you can move from a soft background wash up to a brighter reading light with a tap, no separate wall dimmer or special bulb required. Because the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or replace. It is a plug in lamp, supplied with a cable and plug, so there is no wiring or installation to arrange, simply position it and switch on.
Where it works best
Le Vita is happiest as an accent within a living room, a reading spot beside an armchair or sofa, a gentle glow in a bedroom corner or a warm welcome in a hallway. Its slender footprint means it slips into tight spots where a broader shade or tripod lamp would feel heavy, and the warm, diffused light makes it a natural layering piece for evenings when you want atmosphere rather than bright overhead lighting. It suits anyone drawn to contemporary, design led interiors who wants a floor lamp that doubles as a quiet sculptural object.
About Faro Barcelona
Faro Barcelona is a Spanish lighting company with design and engineering rooted near Barcelona. The brand commissions its collections from industrial designers and studios such as Nahtrang, and pairs a careful eye for materials, here fine metalwork and opal glass, with its own LED engineering. Le Vita is a good example of that pairing: a simple, well resolved form built around an integrated, dimmable light source.

Questions People Ask
How do you change the brightness of the Le Vita?
The Faro Le Vita has a built in touch control on the base that steps through three brightness levels, so you can move from a soft background glow to a brighter setting with a simple tap, without needing a separate dimmer switch.
Is 570 lumens enough to read by?
At around 570 lumens the Faro Le Vita gives a warm, diffused light through its opal glass sphere, which suits general accent and mood lighting well, though for close reading many people prefer to pair it with a dedicated task light on its brightest setting.
Does the Le Vita need to be wired in by an electrician?
No, the Faro Le Vita is a plug in floor lamp supplied with its own cable and plug, so it simply needs to be positioned near a socket and switched on, with no hardwiring or installation required.
Can the bulb in the Le Vita be replaced?
No, the Faro Le Vita has an integrated LED module built into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace over its life.
