A Clean White Finish

Finished in white with a steel and ABS build, the Gotland has a smooth, understated look that pairs easily with light ceilings and neutral schemes. It reads more like a piece of quiet architecture than a stand alone fixture, so it works well whether the room is modern, coastal or classic in style.

How It Works

Gotland runs on a DC motor with three speed settings, controlled by the remote control and programmer supplied in the box. It has a reversible winter and summer function, so the blades can spin one way to circulate cool air in warmer months and the other way to push warm air back down in winter. The fan is also suitable for fitting to inclining or sloped ceilings.

With a sweep of 1320mm and coverage of 17.6 to 28 square metres, Gotland suits larger living rooms, open plan kitchen diners, master bedrooms and other generously sized spaces where a smaller fan wouldn't move enough air. As there is no integrated light on this model, it works well as a dedicated fan alongside existing ceiling or wall lighting.

Faro Barcelona's history with ceiling fans stretches back to the 1980s, when the founder's son travelled to Hong Kong in search of new products and partners, a trip that helped Faro become Spain's first major importer of ceiling fans. Over time the company moved from importing to designing, commissioning collections like Gotland from industrial designers and developing them from its studio near Barcelona in Castellbisbal, with manufacturing carried out through a global supply network. Materials are selected fan by fan, and here that means a steel and ABS body finished in white for a clean, unobtrusive look.
