The Agra 200 is a compact outdoor beacon with a clean, architectural silhouette. A solid cast top and matching base are held apart by four square corner posts, forming an open lantern frame that glows softly through its transparent glass. At around 20cm tall it is one of the lower fittings in the Agra family, designed to sit at ground level or on a pillar and mark a path, a step or an entrance without dominating the space around it.

The rust finish

This version wears Faro's rust finish, a warm, weathered brown with the look of oxidised metal. It is a softer, more organic alternative to the cooler dark grey option and settles naturally into planted borders, gravel, brick and timber. Because the tone is specific to this variant, the Agra 200 in rust suits gardens with a rustic, Mediterranean or traditional character rather than the crisp monochrome of a contemporary courtyard.

How it works

The lamp is built around an integrated LED, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It draws 9W and produces 420 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a colour rendering index above 80 for natural looking colour outdoors. The light source sits in the underside of the top cap and casts a gentle downward glow through the open frame and glass. The body is made from die cast aluminium with a transparent glass, a combination Faro uses across its weather resistant exterior ranges. As a mains powered fitting, Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where it works best

The Agra 200 is at home lining a garden path, edging a driveway, flanking a doorway or standing on a low wall or pillar to mark a boundary. Its modest height makes it ideal for beaconing borders and steps, and a pair or a run of them creates a rhythm of light along a route after dark. It works equally well on a terrace or beside a porch where a low, glare free pool of warm light is more welcome than a bright overhead fitting.
