Rising from a 25cm top ring right down to a full metre across the base, this five tier pendant is built to be the focal point of a room rather than a supporting player. The brass frame has a warm, slightly antique glow to it, and each tier carries smoke tinted glass shades that soften the light into a rich amber cast once switched on.

How It Works

The fitting takes G9 lamps rated up to 10W each, with 32 of them spread across the five tiers so you can build the light up gradually rather than switching everything on in one go. It's dimmable, provided you fit dimmable G9 lamps and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. Wiring is to Class I standard, which means it needs a proper earth connection when installed. With an IP20 rating it's designed for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it away from bathrooms or anywhere it might catch damp or splashing.

Where It Works Best

Given the drop range of 170cm up to 500cm, this is a fitting for a room with genuine height, a stairwell, a double height hallway or centred above a dining table where it can hang low enough to matter. It also suits living rooms and bedrooms with tall ceilings. Because of the IP20 rating it needs to stay in dry indoor spaces, so it isn't one for bathrooms or anywhere exposed to moisture.
