Its IP20 rating means it isn't protected against moisture, so it's intended for dry indoor rooms rather than anywhere damp.

Given its height and spread, it works best in a living room, dining room or hallway with generous ceiling height, though it can also suit a large bedroom. As an IP20 fitting it's for dry indoor areas only, so it isn't suitable for bathrooms or other wet rooms.
