Three Tiers of Warm Amber Glow

Stepping from 60cm up to 80cm and out to a full metre, this three tier pendant carries 74 G9 lamp holders inside a satin black frame. Amber glass wraps each one, so even switched off there's a warm colour running through the fitting, and once lit it throws a rich, golden light rather than a stark white glare.

Choosing Your Finish

The frame here is satin black, a flat, matte tone that lets the amber glass do most of the talking rather than competing with it. Elsewhere in the Farnley range you'll find the same shape offered in other metal finishes and glass colours, so there's room to pick a different combination if black isn't the direction you want.

How It Works

74 G9 lamp holders are spread across the three tiers, each rated at 10W maximum, and bulbs aren't supplied with the fitting. It's dimmable provided you fit dimmable G9 lamps and wire it through a compatible dimmer. Electrically it's Class I, so an earth connection is required at installation. The IP20 rating means it's intended for dry indoor rooms, with no protection against splashes or damp, so keep it away from bathrooms and similar spaces.

Where It Works Best

Its scale calls for a room with real height, a stairwell, a tall hallway, an open plan living space or a dining room where it can hang as the focal point. It also suits bedrooms where a lower single tier version might feel underwhelming. As an IP20 fitting it's strictly for dry indoor areas rather than anywhere damp.

This is the three tier version of the Farnley range, built up in graduated rings that increase in diameter from top to bottom. The satin black frame and amber glass combine to give a tiered fitting with genuine visual weight, whether it's hanging over a table or filling a stairwell, the layered structure is what defines the design here.
