How It Works

Twenty eight G9 bulb sockets sit distributed across the two tiers, with 10 on the 40cm upper ring and 18 on the 60cm lower ring. Each socket will take bulbs up to 10W, and the smoke glass will soften and slightly warm the light that passes through it. The pendant meets Class I electrical standards and requires an earth connection during installation. Its IP20 rating means it's for interior dry spaces exclusively and cannot be used in any area exposed to moisture or damp.

How much light does the smoke glass block?
Smoke glass is primarily aesthetic, not a dramatic light reducer. It will slightly diminish brightness and add a subtle colour tint, but the 28 bulbs still deliver a reasonable light output, and with dimmers you have full control.

Can I mix and match frame and glass colours?
No, these are sold as configured units. However, all of the finishes (satin black, brass, and polished nickel) are available with all three glass options (amber, clear, and smoke), so you can choose the combination that suits your space best.

Is this suitable for a kitchen?
Yes, it can be used in kitchens as long as they're dry. If you have a lot of steam from cooking, or open moisture sources, this IP20 fitting wouldn't be appropriate. For steamy environments, you'd need a higher IP rated fixture.
