The IP20 rating means this is purely an interior fitting for dry rooms, unsuitable for any area where moisture is a factor.

Yes, brass naturally patinates and darkens with age and exposure to air. Many people find this adds to the character, but if you prefer to keep it bright, you can polish it periodically with standard brass polish.

Why are there 10 bulbs in the top ring and 18 in the bottom?
The rings are different sizes, so the larger bottom ring accommodates more bulb positions. The split lets you spread light evenly across both tiers, creating a balanced distribution that lights the room rather than a single hotspot.

Can I use warm or cool white bulbs in this?
You can, though we'd recommend warm white or 2700K bulbs with the amber glass, as this will enhance the golden, inviting quality of the fitting. Cool white bulbs will work but may feel slightly clinical against the warm amber.
