How It Works

56 G9 lamp holders sit across the two tiers, each one taking a bulb of up to 10W, with bulbs not included. Fitted with dimmable G9 lamps, it will work with a compatible dimmer switch. It's built to Class I electrical standards, so it needs an earth connection when installed. Its IP20 rating means there's no protection against moisture, so it's intended for dry indoor rooms only and isn't suitable for a bathroom.

Where It Works Best

This pendant suits dry, indoor spaces with a bit of ceiling height, a dining room or living room being the obvious choices, though it works equally well in a large bedroom or hallway. With a drop that adjusts from 90cm to 500cm, it can be hung low over a table or set higher in a room with a tall or vaulted ceiling.

As part of the Farnley range, this pendant uses a two tier arm structure to spread its 56 lamp holders across two heights rather than one flat ring. The build is straightforward, a metal frame finished in brass carrying a run of small glass shades, but the sheer repetition of shades across two tiers is what gives the fitting its scale and presence.
