How It Works

An integrated 10W LED produces 900 lumens of cool white light at 4000K colour temperature, which is the ideal brightness for mirror lighting without being too yellow or too blue. The 120 degree beam angle spreads light across the whole vanity area rather than creating a narrow hot spot. IP44 rating protects the fitting from splashing water from any direction, making it safe for bathroom zones 1 and 2. Class II electrical means no earth connection is needed.

Where It Works Best

This is specifically designed for bathroom mirror lighting, positioned either side of the mirror or above it for even facial lighting. IP44 rating means it works safely in bathroom zones 1 and 2 according to UK building regulations. Design Details

The engineering here is what matters. Integrated LED means there's nothing to replace except the whole fitting, which Wren is rated to last at least 25,000 hours of use (that's more than a decade of typical daily bathroom use). The shaver socket is a useful addition but genuinely functional, not a gimmick. The pull switch removes the need for electrical points within splashing range of the sink, which is a genuine safety feature.
