Will this fit in my hallway?
It depends on your ceiling height. Semi-flush fittings work in rooms from about 2.4m ceiling height upwards. If you have standard ceiling heights (about 2.4m), it should sit comfortably.

Do I need to use all six bulbs?
No. You can use just a few for warm ambient light, or fill all six positions for brighter, more functional lighting. It's entirely up to your preference.
