This small recessed wall lamp from the Theydon range is made from white gypsum, a plaster like material that can be painted to match your existing wall colour once fitted. It sits neatly into the wall for a soft, low level wash of light rather than a visible fitting, which makes it popular in hallways, corridors and living rooms where a gentle glow is wanted without any glare.
Because the finish is paintable, you can blend it into the wall completely or pick it out in a contrasting shade to make a feature of it. It suits both contemporary and more traditional interiors and works well as part of a wider scheme of recessed lighting through a hallway or staircase.
