How It Works

A single GU10 spotlight sits behind the gypsum casing, directing light downward and slightly outward for ambient illumination rather than a focused beam. It takes a 35W maximum bulb, which you'll need to supply separately. The fitting is dimmable if you pair it with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. It's wired to Class II standards, meaning no earth connection is needed during installation.

Where It Works Best

Ideal for kitchens and other dry indoor spaces where you want soft ambient light without a visible light source. Hallways, corridors, landings and living rooms all work well with this recessed approach. Because it's IP20 rated, it's not suitable for bathrooms or other damp areas.
