One E27 lamp holder sits inside the graphite dome. Class I wiring means an earth connection is needed during installation. Is this pendant too big for a standard kitchen island?
Not if the island is a reasonable size, but the 50cm diameter is generous. Measure your space first, and remember it hangs by a single point so it reads lighter than the dome size alone suggests.

What height should I hang it?
Ideally around 65 to 75cm above the work surface, so it lights the surface without creating glare or shadows directly in your eyes. The maximum drop of 170cm gives you plenty of flexibility to get this right.

Can I use this outside the kitchen?
