Summit has a weathered, rustic character thanks to its black base flecked with brushed silver, giving it a more textured, lived in finish than a flat painted fitting. The rectangular shape throws light both up and down the wall at once, which is handy for lighting a path or softening a plain exterior wall after dark.
With an IP54 rating this wall lamp is built for the outdoors and copes well with rain and general exposure, so it is a good match for patios, driveways and front entrances. Being IP54 rated, it is also fine for use in bathroom zones 1 and 2 should you want that up and down effect indoors. Fit it at a comfortable eye level for the best spread of light in both directions.
