This small pendant from the Fabula Summerfield range has a cylindrical sand black shade with a fine diamond textured pattern pressed into the surface, giving it a subtle mesh like look as light passes through. A clear acrylic ring sits beneath the shade for a neat finishing touch. It takes a standard E27 lamp holder, so you have a wide choice of bulbs depending on how bright or warm you want the light.
At 11cm across it suits spaces where you want a run of smaller pendants rather than one large fitting, so it works particularly well hung in a row above a kitchen island. It is equally happy over a dining table or in a hallway where you want a bit of understated character.
