This version of the Springfield pendant brings together a dark black chrome frame with a 20cm tubular shade in ribbed opal glass, which softens and diffuses the light rather than letting it shine through clear. The darker metalwork gives it a bit more presence than the lighter finishes in the range, and it takes a single E27 lamp so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits the room.

It works well as a statement piece over a kitchen island, but the softer opal glow also makes it a comfortable choice above a dining table or in a snug or living room. The slim tubular profile means it doesn't overwhelm smaller spaces either.
