Smoked glass gives this Springfield pumpkin shade a moodier finish than the clear version, tinting the light slightly and softening the glow from an E27 bulb once it is switched on. The rounded pumpkin profile is finished with fine vertical ribbing that catches the light nicely from different angles.
As a shade only, it is meant to be fitted onto a pendant, wall light or table lamp base that takes a standard E27 lamp holder, so do check compatibility before buying. The darker tone works well in a living room or dining room where you want a slightly more atmospheric feel than a plain glass shade gives.
