How It Works

The 8W integrated LED is built directly into the fitting and cannot be changed, giving you a maintenance free installation once mounted. It produces 560 lumens at 3000K colour temperature, a warm white light suitable for relaxation areas. The fitting is not dimmable. Class I electrical wiring means an earth connection is required during installation. IP20 rating indicates it's for dry indoor use only.

What happens when the LED fails?
The integrated LED is designed to last for many years. When it eventually fails, the whole unit would need to be replaced rather than just swapping the bulb. This is why it comes with a 3 year warranty.

Can I dim this fitting?
No, the Shaftesbury is fixed output and not dimmable. The light level is controlled at manufacture to provide optimal illumination for its intended use.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No, the IP20 rating means it's only safe for dry indoor areas. For bathroom lighting you'd need an IP44 rated fitting or higher.
