How It Works

It takes one E14 bulb, maximum 10W, not supplied. The fitting runs to Class I electrical standards and needs an earth connection during installation. Switch to a dimmable bulb paired with a dimmer switch, and the light becomes fully adjustable. At IP44 rating, it is protected against water splashing from any direction, making it safe to install near bathroom sinks or on shower room walls without sitting directly in the spray line.

Can I hang this over a bathroom sink?
Yes. The IP44 rating covers bathroom zones 1 and 2, so it is waterproof enough for wall or ceiling installation above a basin, as long as it is not positioned directly within a shower cubicle.

How short can I hang it?
The minimum drop from the ceiling is 47cm, but you can adjust the cable length upward at installation to sit it higher if your room needs it.

What happens to brass over time?
Antique brass develops a patina naturally, becoming deeper and richer. If you prefer to keep it shiny, a soft cloth removes fingerprints and dust.
