Is an oval pendant better than a round one for a rectangular table?
The oval shape naturally aligns with rectangular tables, so light distribution feels more balanced. Round pendants work too, but oval ones suit longer tables more intuitively.

Can I dim some bulbs and leave others at full brightness?
Not individually from a single dimmer control. All bulbs on the same circuit dim together. If you need truly independent control, you would need separate circuits installed, which is a job for a qualified electrician.

What happens if one bulb blows?
The others remain lit. Just remove the failed bulb and replace it with a new E14 bulb of the same wattage.
