Fabula Norton Rectangular Bathroom Wall Light - Painted Bronze & Brown Faux Alabaster Glass IP44

Dark Bronze Lines and Honey Veined Glass

In this version a deep painted bronze frame wraps around brown faux alabaster glass. The photos show a dark, warm brown frame with glowing panels of cream glass marked with golden brown veins, so the bright glass stands out against the dark metal. It is rated IP44, so it suits bathrooms. The larger size is 75cm tall.

Choosing Your Finish and Glass

Painted bronze is the darkest of the Norton finishes, and it gives the fitting a more traditional, library style edge. Paired with brown glass it feels rich and cosy, and it suits dark tiles, black or bronze taps and deep wall colours. The frame is painted, so it looks different from the brass and satin nickel versions. If you would like a lighter glass inside the same dark frame, there are grey faux alabaster and clear diamond pattern options, and matching Norton ceiling lights in round and square shapes.

Sizes and Specifications

How It Works

It takes E14 lamps and has no integrated LED. Expect 2 lamp holders on the 40cm size and a listed 3 to 4 on the 75cm size. You can dim it with suitable dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer. The fitting is not switched, so use your wall switch. It is a Class I fitting and requires an earth connection. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

This wall light is suitable for bathroom use thanks to its IP44 rating. Our guide to bathroom lighting zones has the detail. It looks striking either side of a mirror on a dark painted wall, or as a pair flanking a bath. Outside the bathroom, a hallway or a landing suits the 75cm size nicely, and the 40cm size works well in a cloakroom.
