Fabula Norton Rectangular Bathroom Wall Light - Brass & Clear Diamond Pattern Glass IP44

Clear Textured Glass Set in a Slim Brass Cage

This brass finish wall light swaps the milky look of alabaster for clear glass with a fine, rippled texture. The panels sit in an open brass frame, and you can see the lamps glowing through them. The result is bright and sparkly rather than soft. It has an IP44 rating for bathroom use, and the larger size stands 75cm tall.

Choosing Your Finish and Glass

Clear glass is the lightest and brightest choice in the Norton wall light range. The texture breaks the light up so the lamps are not harsh, and the brass frame adds a warm edge to the whole fitting. It is a good match for brass taps, mirror frames and a calm, uncluttered bathroom. If you prefer a more diffused glow, there are also brown and grey faux alabaster versions, and the frame comes in painted bronze or satin nickel. Round and square Norton bathroom ceiling lights are made in the same range.

Sizes and Specifications

How It Works

This wall light takes E14 lamps and has no integrated LED. The smaller size has 2 lamp holders and the larger size is listed with 3 to 4. Because the glass is clear, the lamps are on show, so a tidy lamp shape is worth choosing. It dims with suitable dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer. The fitting is not switched, so you operate it from the wall switch. It is a Class I fitting and needs an earth connection. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

Rated IP44, it is suitable for bathroom use, and our guide to bathroom lighting zones explains where it can go. Two of these either side of a bathroom mirror give a bright, even wash for shaving or make up. The brass and clear glass combination also suits a hallway, where a tall fitting adds height without taking floor space. The 40cm size suits a cloakroom wall, and the 75cm size can run alongside a tall mirror.
