The Nesta pendant looks like it's made from two different materials, but it's actually a single piece of moulded glass, hand painted black on the outside so it reads like metal, with warm amber glass showing through underneath. The vase shaped silhouette has a rippled texture running down its body, and once a bulb is fitted the amber glass glows through in a soft, warm tone.

How It Works

It takes a single E27 tubular bulb, 20W maximum, which isn't supplied, so you can pick the shape and tone of bulb that shows best through the glass. It's dimmable, as long as you use dimmable bulbs together with a compatible dimmer switch. It's wired to Class I electrical standards, meaning it needs an earth connection as part of installation. With an IP20 rating, it's designed for dry indoor use only, so it isn't suitable for a bathroom or any damp space.
