This Merryhill single pendant combines a brass finish with a pale gold twisted cable and a brown square glass shade, giving it a softer, lighter look than the antique brass version in the same range. It's built around a single E27 lampholder, so you have a good choice of lamp shapes and tones to finish the look.

The square glass shade gives it a slightly more architectural feel than a rounded shade would, and it hangs nicely above a kitchen island, breakfast bar or dining table where you want a single strong point of light. Since this is a mains ceiling fitting, we would always suggest having it wired in by a qualified electrician.
