This Mansfield flush light sits tight to the ceiling with a 38cm diameter shade that combines matt black and clear patterned glass. The generous size makes it a proper centrepiece even in rooms where a hanging pendant won't fit, and the patterned glass adds texture and sparkle that a plain shade cannot.

Choosing Your Finish

Matt black provides a contemporary frame for the patterned glass, which has its own visual interest without needing colour. The clear sections allow light through clearly while other areas provide diffusion. Other Mansfield finishes and glass patterns are available if you want a different look.

How It Works

This fitting has no built in switch, so it is wired to a wall or ceiling switch. It takes a single E27 bulb, maximum 60W, sold separately. It is Class I wired, requiring an earth connection. It is dimmable if you use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer.

Where It Works Best

The larger diameter suits living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways, anywhere you want wide, even light from a ceiling fixture. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor use only and is not suitable for bathrooms or damp areas.

The Mansfield range uses patterned glass to create visual interest at ceiling level. Built from iron, aluminium and patterned glass, the 38cm diameter gives it enough presence to work as a design feature while the pattern itself catches and refracts light to add movement to the ceiling.
