Standing on an antique brass base, this floor lamp from the Maida range takes its cue from traditional lighting shapes but gives them a more contemporary finish. The shade is made from textured prismatic glass, which catches the light nicely even when unlit and creates a lovely sparkling effect once the E27 bulb is switched on. It is the kind of piece that can sit happily beside an armchair or sofa without needing anything else around it to look finished.
