Fabula Leycroft Up & Down Outdoor LED Wall Light - Satin White IP54

A Clean White Tube That Disappears Into the Wall

Finished in satin white, this slim outdoor wall light is a 26cm tall tube on a small rectangular back plate, with a fine grooved ring at either end. On a white or pale wall it almost melts away, leaving just the light it throws up and down. It is only 6cm wide and projects 6.5cm, so it keeps a low profile. Two integrated LEDs do the work, and the IP54 rating makes it a good fit for sheltered outdoor walls.

Choosing Your Finish

Satin white is the lightest of the three Leycroft finishes. It suits white render, pale painted brick, light cladding and modern extensions, and it keeps the look fresh without drawing the eye to the fitting itself. If you want a darker tone, the same design comes in painted matt bronze for outdoors. A brass version is also made, for indoor use only. There is a single size.

How It Works

Light comes from two integrated 3W LEDs, so there are no bulbs to find or change. The supplier lists 300 lumens (plus or minus 5%) at 3000K warm white, with a CRI above 80 and a 60 degree beam angle. It is not dimmable. This is a Class I fitting and it requires an earth connection. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

This outdoor LED wall light is a tidy choice beside a back door, around a conservatory or on a white garden room, where you want a little guiding light without a bulky lantern. IP54 protects against splashing water, so it suits a sheltered wall such as a porch or covered doorway. A pair set either side of a door, or a row along a boundary wall, gives an even wash of soft light above and below.

Questions People Ask

Is the satin white Leycroft wall light made for outdoor use?
Yes. This version is rated IP54, which protects against splashing water, so it suits sheltered outdoor walls.

Will it show up on a white wall?
The satin white finish is close in tone to a white wall, so the tube blends in and the light does most of the talking. On a darker wall it will stand out more.

Do I need to buy bulbs?
No. The two 3W LEDs are built into the fitting and the bulbs cannot be swapped.

How tall is it and how far does it stick out?
It is 26cm tall and 6cm wide, and it sits 6.5cm out from the wall.

Can I install it myself?
We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician. It is a Class I fitting and requires an earth connection.
