Fabula Leycroft Up & Down Outdoor LED Wall Light - Painted Matt Bronze IP54

A Dark Bronze Tube With an Aged, Streaky Look

This outdoor LED wall light is a slim tube, 26cm tall and 6cm wide, finished in painted matt bronze. In the photos the colour is a deep brown with visible streaks and variation along the tube, so it looks more like aged metal than flat paint. A rectangular back plate holds it to the wall, and a fine grooved ring marks each end. Two integrated LEDs light the wall up and down, and with an IP54 rating it is aimed at sheltered outdoor spots.

Choosing Your Finish

The bronze is dark enough to settle into timber cladding, dark brick and natural stone, and it hides well against an old wall. The streaked tone you see in the photos can look a little different on your screen from the real thing. The same Leycroft shape is also made in satin white for outdoors and in brass for indoor use. There is one size, so you only need to pick the finish.

How It Works

The two 3W LEDs are built in, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. They give 300 lumens (plus or minus 5%) of 3000K warm white light, with a CRI above 80 and a supplier beam angle of 60 degrees. It is not dimmable. This is a Class I fitting and it requires an earth connection. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

IP54 protects against splashing water, so this outdoor LED wall light suits a sheltered wall, such as a porch, a covered entrance, a carport or the side of the house, rather than a spot that gets blasted by a hose or driving rain. It also works well beside a back door, along a garden room wall, or either side of a gate pillar where a narrow fitting is needed. Used in a pair, the soft up and down light frames a doorway without any glare.
