A Moody Ombre Glass Table Lamp

Kendon is built around a substantial glass cylinder that fades from smoked grey through to black, creating an ombre effect that shifts depending on the light and your angle to it. It's a large scale table lamp meant to be noticed, so it suits a console table, sideboard or a corner of a living room where it has space to stand out.

This version fades from black through smoked glass for a moody, layered look. The same lamp base may also be produced in other glass tones across the range, if you'd prefer something different.

How It Works

It takes a single E27 GLS bulb, sold separately, giving you the choice of warm or cool light depending on the bulb you pick. It's dimmable if you use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer. Switching is handled by an inline switch on the cable itself, so there's no need for a separate wall switch. It's wired to Class II standards, so no earth connection is required. With an IP20 rating, it's intended for dry indoor rooms only.

Where It Works Best

It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways and home offices, particularly as a secondary light source alongside a main ceiling fitting. Given its IP20 rating, it isn't intended for bathrooms or other damp spaces.
