How tight are the adjustment joints?
The joints are stiff enough that arms won't droop under their own weight, so you can position them and trust they'll stay put. They're not so tight that you can't adjust them once installed, so you can change the angle if your needs change.

What does the adaptor do?
The adaptor allows you to fit the pendant to a standard ceiling rose and allows for dimming compatibility. It comes pre fitted to the fitting, so you don't need to worry about it separately.

Do I need dimmable bulbs to use this?
No. The adaptor supports both dimmed and standard circuits. Use regular E27 bulbs if you're not dimming, and you'll still get consistent, even light from all three heads, each angled to suit your table or stairwell.
