Hornbeam is a single downlighter pendant finished with a 40cm Tiffany style shade in purple and pink tones, built up from small pieces of coloured glass in a dragonfly motif across the mosaic surface. Each piece of glass catches the light slightly differently, so the shade throws a warm, patterned glow rather than a flat wash of light, and it sits on ceiling fittings taking a standard bayonet or Edison screw lamp depending on your existing wiring.
It is an indoor pendant, so it belongs somewhere central where the coloured glass can be appreciated properly, such as above a dining table, in a living room or in a hallway with a bit of ceiling height. If you already like Tiffany style lighting, this is an easy way to bring a bold splash of colour into a room that might otherwise be quite neutral.
