What's the difference between this and modern glass shades?
Tiffany style uses individual pieces of coloured glass held together with lead came, which means the light passes through different coloured segments as it bounces around the room. Modern glass shades are typically single colour or clear. The hand leading also gives a tactile, textured quality you can see and feel.

Does this get very hot to touch?
No. While the bulbs inside will be warm once switched on, the glass shade itself stays at a safe temperature. You should still avoid touching it immediately after switching off, but it cools reasonably quickly.

Can I use LED bulbs in this?
