Hickman reimagines the classic chandelier by replacing traditional metal arms with clear glass ones, each one draped in cascading high quality crystal buttons and teardrops. A further cascade of crystal runs down the central column. Beneath every E14 lamp socket sits a deeply faceted crystal sconce each one designed to throw off proper spectral sparkle once the lights are on. The whole piece is finished in polished chrome, giving it a contemporary edge despite its very traditional form.

Choosing Your Finish

Polished chrome might seem an unexpected choice for a crystal chandelier, but it works beautifully bright and contemporary while still showing off the crystal to maximum effect. The chrome is not brassy or warm; it is cleanly reflective, letting the crystal be the hero. The same glass and crystal design is also available in other finishes across the range if you prefer a warmer metal tone to complement the crystal.

How It Works

Six E14 (decorative candle) lamp sockets are arranged through the chandelier body, each rated to 20W maximum. With six sockets you have excellent scope for brightness, and the crystal on every surface catches and scatters light in beautiful ways once the bulbs are lit. It is wired to Class I electrical standards, requiring an earth connection for installation. A ceiling adaptor is included, and the drop from the ceiling can be adjusted. The IP20 rating means this fitting is for protected, dry indoor spaces only and should not be exposed to moisture.

Design Details

The twist here glass arms instead of the metal ones you would find in a traditional chandelier completely changes the character. The deeply faceted crystal sconces beneath each bulb socket are the real stars; they are cut to throw off spectral sparkle when lit, creating movement and colour play that changes depending on the viewing angle and the light level.
