Fabula Heather Glass Rod Pendant Light - Matt Black & Clear Glass

Matt Black Lines Around Fluted Clear Glass

This glass rod pendant light pairs a column of ribbed, clear glass with thin matt black rings at the top and bottom. The black chain and ceiling plate carry the same dark line right up to the ceiling. The sizes run from 17.5cm across to 30cm across, with a drop of up to 122cm, so it can be quite a feature. One E27 lamp sits inside the glass, and the ribs scatter the light into fine vertical lines.

Choosing Your Size and Finish

Matt black is the most graphic of the three Heather finishes. The dark rings and chain draw a crisp outline around the glass, which suits industrial, modern and monochrome rooms, and works with black window frames or taps. The slim 17.5 x 25cm gives a tall, narrow shape, and the 21 x 20cm and 30 x 20cm are wider and drum shaped. The same pendant is also made in Antique Brass and French Gold if you want something warmer. Black can look a little different on screen from in the room, so if you are not sure about size or colour, please call our customer service team.

Sizes and Specifications

How It Works

There is room for one E27 lamp in each pendant and no LED is built in, so the lamp choice is yours. It is dimmable with a suitable dimmable lamp and a compatible dimmer. This is a Class I fitting and it requires an earth connection. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

A matt black pendant light with clear glass is a strong match for a kitchen island, where two or three of the same size in a row look sharp. It also suits a home office, a dining nook or a loft style living area. The 30cm size reads as a statement piece over a table, while the 17.5cm size slips into tighter spots. IP20 rated, it is meant for dry indoor rooms.
