Fabula Heather Glass Rod Pendant Light - Antique Brass & Clear Glass

Fluted Glass Rods in an Aged Brass Frame

This glass rod pendant light hangs a column of fine, ribbed clear glass rods between two slim antique brass rings. It comes in three sizes, from 17.5cm across up to 30cm across, and hangs on a chain with a drop of up to 122cm, so it has real presence in a room. A single E27 lamp sits inside, and the ribbed glass breaks up the view of it into soft vertical lines.

Choosing Your Size and Finish

Antique brass is a darker, aged tone, closer to old bronze than to shiny gold, and the chain and ceiling plate match the rings. It suits traditional rooms, dark timber and rich paint colours. The 17.5 x 25cm size is a slim column, while the 21 x 20cm and 30 x 20cm sizes are wider drums. The same Heather pendant is also made in French Gold and Matt Black, each with clear glass. Screens show colour differently, and an aged finish can look lighter or darker depending on the light in your room. If you are in any doubt about the size or the colour, please call our customer service team before you order.

Sizes and Specifications

How It Works

Each size takes one E27 lamp. There is no integrated LED, so you can choose the warmth and brightness you like. It can be dimmed when you use a suitable dimmable lamp with a compatible dimmer. This is a Class I fitting and it requires an earth connection. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

The long drop makes this a good antique brass pendant light for a hallway or stairwell, or over a dining table where you want height and a traditional feel. The 17.5cm size works well singly in a narrow space, or in a row of two or three. The 30cm size has the most presence over a table or in a room with a higher ceiling. Its IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor rooms.

Questions People Ask

How long does the Heather antique brass pendant hang?
The drop runs from 33.5cm to 121.5cm on the 17.5cm size, and from 34cm to 122cm on the 21cm and 30cm sizes. That range lets you choose a height that suits your ceiling.

Is the pendant very large?
It can be. The widest size is 30cm across and the drop goes up to 122cm, so it is worth measuring the space and checking the height over any table or walkway. The 17.5cm size is the slimmest of the three.

Will the antique brass look the same as the photos?
It may look a little different. Screens show colour differently and the aged brass tone changes with the light in the room. If you are unsure, please call our customer service team.

Can I dim this pendant?
Yes, with a suitable dimmable E27 lamp and a compatible dimmer.

Can I hang it myself?
We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician. It is a Class I fitting and requires an earth connection.
