How It Works

It takes a single E27 bulb, up to 20W, which isn't included so you'll need to source one separately. Dimming is possible, but only if you pair it with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, rather than any standard bulb and switch combination. It's wired to Class II standard, meaning it doesn't need an earth connection, and carries an IP20 rating, so it's built for dry indoor rooms rather than anywhere with moisture in the air.

Where It Works Best

With its single bulb and compact shallow profile, this pendant works well hung solo above a console table or in a stairwell, or repeated in a row above a kitchen island or breakfast bar. It also suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, though as an IP20 fitting it should stay out of bathrooms.

The design here is all about the wire cage frame, twisted into two intersecting forms rather than left as a simple dome or drum. Made from iron, it has a slightly industrial, handcrafted feel without being heavy handed, and works well as a single striking pendant rather than needing to be part of a wider run of fittings.
